H.C.B.A. Chairman , Paul Brockman , became the first UK exhibitor to win a Gold Medal with a Hoso Posture Canary.
Seen here at The International Festival of Colours , Cantelue , Normandy , France , with his Gold Medal winning clear yellow Hoso cock , Paul added two Silver Medals to his tally proudly representing not only the UK but the H.C.B.A as well.

One of the major benefits of membership to the H.C.B.A. is that through our affilaition to the I.O.A. (C.O.M. GB ) members have the opportunity to enter some of the most prestigious exhibitions held in mainland Europe. During 2009 , H.C.B.A. members sent birds to the International Festival of Colours in France , the Golden Ring Show in Belgium and last , but by no means least , the 58th World Championships ( World Show ) in Portugal. Whilst the H.C.B.A. encourage its members to support shows here in the UK , the contnent gives you the chance to compete against the best Europe has to offer.
For 2010 the H.C.B.A. have identified two shows that are within a two hour drive of the ferry port of Calais , making them ideal shows for H.C.B.A. members to not only participate in but also visit .
